Monique Koh
Senior Associate | Singapore
Secretary Noraini Mohamad
Operating as Withers KhattarWong LLP in Singapore.
Monique is a senior associate in our private client and tax team.
She advises high-net-worth individuals and families on international estate and wealth planning, with a focus on cross-border structuring, succession planning, and family governance. Her work frequently involves trusts, asset-holding structures, and family offices. Monique has particular experience assisting clients with setting up single family offices in Singapore, navigating immigration pathways, and designing long-term structures to preserve and transition wealth across generations.
Monique also regularly advises on philanthropic structures, including the setting up of charitable foundations and other grant-making strategies to help families achieve their philanthropic objectives in Singapore and elsewhere. Her clients are typically entrepreneurs, first-generation wealth creators, and multi-generational family businesses in Asia with increasingly global footprints. She works closely with trustees, private banks, and local advisors in other jurisdictions to ensure planning is cohesive across borders, particularly in respect of tax, regulatory, and reporting considerations.
She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2015 and has practised exclusively as a private client and tax laywer since then. Before joining Withers, Monique practised with the tax and private client team of one of Singapore’s leading local law firms.
