27 August 2020 | 10 minute listen

Episode 1 of Withers talks: families and family office series

In this podcast, we look at the structuring of family offices for tax and investment benefits. Our host and head of the family office practice, Ivan Sacks, talks to Bill Kambas, a noted practitioner, speaker and author on the subject, about tax-efficient structuring for family offices and their relationship to family investments. Bill provides insight and guidance on organizing tax efficiency in the design and structure of the family office, a “broader family enterprise,” and a range of other management vehicles. In addition, Bill explains that in proper circumstances, a family office can generate income and manage expenses in a way that is both tax efficient and beneficial to the entire wealth enterprise.
