Withers appoints 12 new partners in the US, UK and Singapore

International law firm Withers has appointed 12 new partners from within its teams and across its international offices with effect from 1st July 2026.

The new partners are based across Singapore, the US and the UK as follows:
New Haven
Di Fu is a US tax planning attorney, working with international clients such as successful entrepreneurs, private family offices, and leading trust companies. Di frequently manages clients' succession planning matters with consideration of the potential business, tax and immigration consequences.
Andrea Zakko is a tax, trust and estate planning attorney advising clients on a broad range of international tax issues, including US taxation of foreign trusts with US beneficiaries and US tax reporting. Andrea also works with clients on the creation of private foundations to support their philanthropic goals.
San Francisco
Marsha Levinson works with founders, senior executives, fund managers and owners of closely held businesses on estate, gift and income tax planning, trust and estate administration and charitable planning matters. Marsha crafts tax‑efficient strategies for her clients, including lifetime gifting and advanced estate planning.
San Diego
Sara Pike advises on all aspects of estate and tax planning and estate and trust administration. Sara also establishes charitable split-interest trusts, private foundations and other charitable vehicles to provide individuals and organizations with charitable planning solutions. She is qualified in California and Nevada.
Los Angeles
Vahe Mesropyan is a commercial and civil litigator who represents companies and individuals in high-stakes disputes. He regularly handles complex matters in federal and state courts, before arbitration tribunals, and in regulatory proceedings. With a background in employment law, Vahe also advises companies on unfair competition issues and on protecting and recovering confidential and proprietary information.
Singapore
Shaun Ho is a family lawyer, advising on divorce, financial matters, pre-nup agreements and surrogacy arrangements. He is noted for his expertise in complex financial matters and international child matters, and his cases frequently involve cross-border issues.
Tom McElligot advises high-net-worth individuals, families and their intermediaries on international private wealth matters, including tax, trusts and succession planning. Tom has particular expertise advising globally mobile individuals with tax residency and pre-immigration planning advice, as well as developing efficient holding structures for clients with properties, investments and business interests in multiple jurisdictions.
Jonathan Tan is a commercial litigator and arbitrator with a focus on shareholder and commercial disputes. He is frequently called upon as a trusted advisor to companies, their directors and shareholders on a broad range of matters relating to both their business interests and personal concerns. He is regarded as a safe pair of hands in managing sensitive situations, resolving disputes strategically and helping clients avoid unnecessary escalation where possible.
London
Sarfraz Ali is a family lawyer, working on complex finance and high-conflict children matters, as well as structuring pre- and post-nup agreements and leading on cases involving domestic abuse. His clients are often high-profile individuals with issues that require careful handling to protect their privacy.
