Me in a minute
I find the tactics and psychology of litigation fascinating
Growing up, I wanted to play right wing-back for Spurs. But sadly, I was born with two left feet and an impressive inability to time a tackle. More often than not, this meant me either giving away a penalty or getting sent off.
Since working in law, I always knew that I was better suited to litigation. I am a sociable person and I love problem-solving. I enjoy getting to know clients, their objectives and priorities and then resolving their disputes and legal issues. I find the tactics and psychology of litigation fascinating, as well as understanding the complexities of family and other relationships. I am also hugely competitive (probably from playing sport). I work hard and fight for the best possible outcome for clients.

Removal of executor despite alleged medical emergency
Josh and Paul Hewitt act for the Second Claimant in Williams and Another v Turner [2026], an application to force the Defendant executor to honour an Agreement reached in 2025 compromising proceedings. The executor sought to set aside the 2025 Agreement alleging that he had rescinded instructions to his then solicitors before the Agreement was finalised. He also tried to have the hearing adjourned the night before on the basis of a medical emergency, and then failed to turn up notwithstanding the court making arrangements for him to participate remotely. The Master held that the hearing should proceed despite the Defendant's non-appearance, refused an adjournment in the absence of medical evidence substantiating the alleged medical emergency, and made an order enabling the Agreement to be put into effect including removal of the executor for failing to comply with the Agreement or fulfil his duties as executor, and replacing him with the First Defendant.
